The library will be open normal hours, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 31, and 1-5 p.m. (Todd Library only) Sunday, September 1, 2019.
2019 marks the 125th anniversary of the Labor Day national holiday, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. President Grover Cleveland signed the holiday into law in 1894, proposing that the first Monday in September should mark the celebration with a parade and a festival for workers and their families.
