Ernest Hemingway remains to this day, one of America’s greatest authors. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on July 21, 1899. He made a name for himself by writing such amazing books as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and For Whom the Bell Tolls, to name just a few. Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1954.
