Are you ready for 2020?  Spring Term starts Tuesday, January 21, 2020 – registration is now open.

Reduced Library Hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Closed Weekends) will be in effect from Sunday, December 15, 2019 to Monday, January 20, 2020.

The Library will also be CLOSED December 21- January 1 for Winter Break.

‘Tis the Season for Study Snacks and Holiday Concerts!

Stop by Todd Library 10:30 a.m. -9:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday, Dec. 3 for a study break!  We’ll serve crackers and hot beverages.

Aurora Downtown Campus Library will have study snacks 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Aurora Fox Valley Campus Library’s snack event will be 11:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019.

For more holiday fun, don’t miss the December First Friday Event at our Aurora Downtown Campus on Friday, Dec. 6, 5-8:30 p.m. for live jazz, chorale music, and a holiday pottery sale.

Highlights her work as NAGPRA Director at Indiana University, and also discusses IU’s Native American and Indigenous Studies programs for prospective transfer students.

Monday, Nov. 18 – Anthropology Talk by Dr. Jayne-Leigh Thomas

Focuses on the work of an anthropologist, and the science and art of investigating culture through artifacts – includes Q&A segment.

Tuesday, Nov. 19 – “Two Spirits” Film Screening and Discussion
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in APC 120
View and discuss director Lydia Nibley’s documentary about the murder of a “two-spirit” Navajo youth, Fred Martinez, in the context of Navajo beliefs about masculine/feminine spiritual balance.

Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Bear Clan Dancers and Singers Event
