This happened at the Auburn Prison, Auburn, NY. Happy Birthday Hemingway!

Ernest Hemingway remains to this day, one of America’s greatest authors. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on July 21, 1899. He made a name for himself by writing such amazing books as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and For Whom the Bell Tolls, to name just a few.  Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1954. Come celebrate  and check out one of his books at the Todd Library during the month of July.
