Go Green!

Now that the cold weather has arrived and we’ve barricaded ourselves indoors, perhaps we should give some thought to the quality of the air we’ll be breathing for the next several months. Did you know indoor air can be the most polluted air we breathe? Benzene, trichloroethylene, formaldehyde and ammonia are just a few of the toxins we shut in with us when we shut the windows. But just one plant per 100 square feet of living space can improve air quality substantially. Stop by the library’s “Go Green” display to read more–and breathe better today!
