Doris Lessing, a British writer, has won a Nobel Prize for her lifetime of work on feminism, politics, and other social issues. She is only the eleventh woman to win the prize, since the awards’ inception in 1901. Here are two of her books found at Todd Library:

Come in and check out our display on world pollution at the reference desk. The Blacksmith Institute, an independant environmental group, has recently published it’s Report on World’s Worst Polluted Places. The Institute evaluates the level of pollution in locations by taking into consideration how much pollution impacts the lives of people, especially children.
