January Book Display
January is the month that we celebrate the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. A Presidential Proclamation has been issued every year since 1986 designating the third Monday in January as being a Federal Holiday in memory of him. Come celebrate with us and check out a good book or video concerning his life and times.
December Book Display
December marks the 35th Anniversary of the Endangered Species Act signed first by President Richard Nixon in 1973. Come check out some of the books and articles that the Todd Library has concerning these endangered species. One may catch your interest to do a last minute report for class or just for fun.

We will be saluting “National Native American Heritage Month” throughout the month of November. Come join us and learn more about past history and present day life among the various tribes. If you can’t make it into the library, you may still check out our collection of Ebooks from your home computers through our online catalog.

In cooperation with Community Education’s program on Chicagoland ghost stories, the Todd Library will be displaying some of it’s own book collection on ghosts and hauntings. Come check them out and remember that Halloween is just around the corner!
