To a great group of students as\u00a0Spring Semester finishes up\u00a0over the next two weeks –\u00a0congratulations and best wishes to\u00a0Waubonsee’s Class of ’18 graduates, and we look forward to seeing\u00a0continuing and new\u00a0\u00a0students in Summer or Fall!<\/p>\n
Here is a poem for graduates, “Into My Own” by Robert Frost:<\/p>\n
INTO MY OWN<\/p>\n
One\u00a0of my wishes is that those dark trees,
\nSo old and firm they scarcely show the breeze,
\nWere not, as ’twere, the merest mask of gloom,
\nBut stretched away unto the edge of doom.<\/p>\n
I should not be withheld but that some day
\nInto their vastness I should steal away,
\nFearless of ever finding open land,
\nOr highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.<\/p>\n
I do not see why I should e’er turn back,
\nOr those should not set forth upon my track
\nTo overtake me, who should miss me here
\nAnd long to know if still I held them dear.<\/p>\n
They would not find me changed from him they knew\u2014
\nOnly more sure of all I thought was true.<\/p>\n
