He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on July 21, 1899. He made a name for himself by writing such amazing books as <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>The Sun Also Rises<\/em>, <\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>A Farewell to Arms <\/em><\/span>and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>For Whom the Bell Tolls<\/em><\/span>, to name just a few.\u00c2\u00a0 Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1954.
