January Book Display

January is “National Poverty In America Awareness Month”

This month is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the continuing existence of poverty and social injustice in America. Individuals are encouraged to support efforts to eradicate poverty by increasing their understanding of the causes and practical solutions. People are also encouraged to actively participate in and support antipoverty programs. Come join us in the Todd Library and learn more about this most critical condition in our society.

Electronic Frontiers Foundation releases its report on popular e-book platforms and their privacy policies. They comb through the fine print of Google Books, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo, Sony, Overdrive, Indiebound, Internet Archive, and Adobe Content Server so you don’t have to, though you really should.
