Specific Search Strategies for Academic Search Premier
Nearly every article database has an option to search for authors' names, or specify dates for searching. We will take a closer look at how to accomplish these types of searches in Academic Search Premier as an example.
In advanced searches you may specify where your search will take place. For example, to search for an author, click on drop-down box, then select the option for AU Author. Now when the database looks for the words you entered in the text box, it will look only for authors.
For our example, if we search for Wilcove, David (the author of one of the books we found in Catalog) we find seven other articles he has written relevant to endangered species.
