Gold-hatted Gatsby

The writer F. Scott Fitzgerald considered, among other things, in this letter with his editor, Maxwell Perkins, to alternate name for his novel ‘The Great Gatsby.’  He was leaning towards: “Gold-hatted Gatsby”
