National Photo Month

May is National Photo Month! According to Community Arts and Media Project in St. Louis, MO. (http://stlcamp.org/free_tagging/photo) “In 1987, as recognized by the US Congress, our industry started celebrating May as National Photo Month…. A full 31 days to promote the joy and benefits of photography.” Check out the Todd Library’s display of books and journals on and about photography and photographers. View the “Photo of the Day” here. Pick up tips and tricks here. Or browse over 110,000 images in our ArtStor database!

May Book Display

Our May’s Display will be in cooperation with the Criminal Justice Department here on campus as we pay tribute to Law Enforcement officers and those who have died in the “line of duty”. A week in May is set a side each year as Police Week and one day is designated as National Peace Officers Memorial Day.
